2. Kyaiktiyo Pagoda
More commonly known as The Golden Rock because of the famous gravity-defying gilded rock, Kyaiktiyo Pagoda is one of the most sacred sites in Myanmar. For a person who follows Buddhism, a visit to Kyaiktiyo is considered a great privilege.
3. Dhammayangyi Temple
Among 2,200 spectacular temples and stupas in Bagan, Dhammayangyi just simply stands out as it is the largest of all. You haven’t been to Bagan unless you have entered this holy place.

Compared to the previous four, Kuthodaw Pagoda in Mandalay is a relatively “young” temple. While it is best known for containing the World’s Largest Book, the stupa itself is also sensational.
